In Dash Dvd Player -accord Euro

Guys,

Ive put this thread up many a times. I would just like to give you an update on whats on offer.

I have just bought a new single din clarion dvd 7" player and the new fascia for the accord euro. We all know how much of a B*&Tch it is with the stock stacker - This fascia below set me back 470 and took nearly 2 months to get in.

I am now getting it installed and should have it done in a week or so. If anybody is considering buying or doing this, your looking at spending around 2 g's to really get it all right. but in the end, its worth it i reckon.

If you cannot part with HVAC, you have the option of hooking up an iPod Video to the stock radio, and connecting the iPod to a mounted LCD on the dash using the iPod's Video-Out feature, and playing MPEG4 DVD's from the iPods HDD.

no clock, no stacker, no bass control but thats all done on the deck lol

i go from a little HVAC to a touch screen lol i see ya point though...

the guys at ryde assured me that the dual climate control will work... plus the standard steering wheel controls will work aswell.. they had this universal thing... lol i dunooo ... i just pay the money haha

Im refering to the onscreen HVAC settings such as the fan speed, temperature settings, etc..

dual climate control will no longer work... it'll just be standard old school a/c and fan... you select the vent temp output, and the fan speed... thats it, no auto climate control, no dual temps...

but im with you, i dont need auto climate control, thats what your missus is for, just tell her to adjust it for you :p
i would prefer DVD player :D
