Windscreens obrien definatly do them. I think you will find 90% of windscreen shops are able to repair them.

get it repaired unless it is infront of u (drives side) as it is classified as obstructing ur vision and will mean u must repair ur windscreen...

yeah go to windscreen obrien or a glass shop like that before it gets bigger and you need a new windscreen.they can repair the chip easily

Yeah but sometimes chips can crack and spread, unless not very deep or nothing.

yeh that's about the ptrice, it u can find any cheaper, then it wouldnt be far off that....or u can be really lucky to find around $50 mark. it would be good to get it fixed as u dont want any chances of it getting bigger. it takes time to fix em, coz they need to drill a small hole on ur windscreen and inject it with this liquid. but dont worry, the windscreen has 2 layers....they will only drill d 1st layer and hopefully the crack is not deeper than 1 layer. i think i had 3 stars patched up for like $170 or sumthin like that. it took the guy quite a while.....its not a patch-and-go kinda job.....good luck!

If your winscreen is a little old just replace it.I was quoted $220 for my 96 Civic EK1 Sedan.Ring around.

yeah thats about right.

if its like a small ship in the middle its fixable.. but once you start getting those line cracks not really.

the process involves drilling a hole through the chip in your glass and filling with some clear filler that hardens like glass.

you can get those windshield repair kits from hardware shops/internet etc for around $25... however it is a tad of a risk unless your in the know

I bought one of those ones that's like a syringe with a suction cup on the end. It's filled with glue.I followed all the instructions.Tried it about 3-4 times but no workie...

yeah thats the one... the suction cup thing is a bit gay.. you have to actually push it and get all the air out before pumping the glue... if it aint flat glue goes everywhere outside the whole.

also tried it once on a hole with an overall diameter of about ~5mm.. worked OK, there was just some tiny bits that i couldn't fill due to the density of the glue.

Obriens do the same thing only i'm assuming their equipment is industrial strength non-disposable like those kits etc..
