brake light wont turn off

i locked up my brakes today in the wet and i have no abs. now the brake lights wont turn off. anyone know how to fix it. brakes still work fine

look at your brake light switch

check your brake fluid level too - might be alittle low. Also check the 2 wires that hang off the top of the brake master cylinder , one maybe alittle loose.

yeah look under where the brake pedal is theres a switch on top of it when you let the pedal go it touches the switch but there a rubber grommet in between which pops into the pedal the rubber must be worn as this happened to me the rubber was broken and feel out which caused the brake light to stay on
