im looking at painting my bodykit diy style its already primed and ready to go, just need a know a few basics and i have some stupid questions aswell
1. is it better to use a spray gun or just use lots of spray cans?
2. is true that its ideal to use a air tight sort of room so no dust will stick to the paint?
3. what way is best to paint? side to side, top to bottom etc.
and any other helpful tints
thanks in advance

there should be a paintcode when u open ur cardoor. just take that code to any auto paint shop and they should be able to mix the right colour for you.

- dont diy it..

- silver aint that easy to spray aswell.. also hard to match if ur planning with spray cans.

- generally ppl spray from side to side..

- wet floor or not in a shed u will always get dust particles.. unless its in a proper spray booth.

- dont use cans and its pretty chatty paint, and will eventually die under the sun

- prepping a bar (DIY) at home is fine. but spraying paint/clear i wouldnt reccomded.

- if u do diy use a spray gun with proper air compressor and shiet.

if you dont have any of these thigns to start with.. just take it to a shop to do
lol

Is it easier and cheaper to respray a car back to it's original color?

ie. Honda Pink, err Red.

ok so if i do get it painted professionally would it be better to use the gap fillers and all that after they have painted it and just use some touch up paint or use the gap filler first and get them to spray it after? and any idea how much it would cost just to spray the kit? maybe 300$?
