Hey guys, firstly hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year!

Secondly, and more to the point, I have a few queries I would love answered regarding the Spoon Sports N1 Exhaust System on the Honda Integra 2002 Type R (DC5R) by some of the more knowledgeable forumers (i.e. not me, yet!).

In regards to the DC5R:

To get a much nicer sounding exhaust, whilst freeing up some power from the engine, which pieces of the Spoon exhaust would I need? Would it be the Spoon Sports N1 Muffler (http://customers.ilisys.com.au/jdmya/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_166&products_id=115&osCsid=a55c92c98c9c84a8b9b18222a2cf3d81) & Spoon Sports N1 B-Pipe (http://customers.ilisys.com.au/jdmya/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_166&products_id=113&osCsid=a55c92c98c9c84a8b9b18222a2cf3d81)?
Do the above two pieces form a Cat Back system? I'm quite clueless when it comes to exhausts. If someone could clear this all up for me, I would be greatly appreciative!
Would it be wise investing in some Spoon Sports Headers/Extractors as well, or are the OEM DC5R ones good enough as they are?

Thanks for reading & hopefully answering some of my more amateur queries, please no "Upgrade X/Y First Nub LOL" posts :D

:honda:appy New Year guys!

Mikey Mike.

the muffler will give you the most significant change in sound, but will probably net you the least gains in power..

the b-pipe will change the sound a bit, but will probably give you more power than a muffler would..

getting both would give you best of both worlds..

yes, as it's from the cat, back. so from the end of the cat, to the back end of the car, is known as your catback

Would it be wise investing in some Spoon Sports Headers/Extractors as well, or are the OEM DC5R ones good enough as they are?

this will probably give you the best gains out of the header/catback combination..

have a search around the forum, and people will recommend you which headers they prefer etc.

Nice Write answer TRipitaka, i always wonder, with vtec, is it better to use twinloop exhaust or N1 type?

because N1 give you a high airflow, and 1.6 civic doesn't need such a big air flow, so will it means that the car with n1 will lose some power instead?
