can I split my rear speaker output from the OEM unit so it will drive the stock speakers and the high pass input on my amp for the subwoofer? or can it even drive 2 pairs of high input for that matter?

has anyone got any experience with similar setup? I'm having two possible setups which require the rear speaker outputs to run the stock speakers and high inputs for amped sub.. or run two pairs of high input for amplified rear channel and subwoofer

should be able to do both, (drive speakers and a high in0put amp as i did this to my wifes new beetle which worked really well..)

if you have a LOC then most are adjustable so you can fiddle with the level like the gain on the amp before it gets amped? then adjust the gain and freqs on the amp?? understand??

so in short yes it'l work might not be 100% sound qaulity but if you dont mind itl be good, wifes beetle is testiment.

my euro now has stock speakers driven by stock unit, then i tapped into them for my amp which has aout high levcel inout sensing so i didnt have to muck around with a remote wire.. i was going to get LOC's again but didnt see the point easier less cables n junk faster to set up and remove for me..
(give me quality post if yu think this info is ok???)

you can always us a AudioControl LC6, gives u equal sound quality and 16v pre outs.... although new alpine amps have a built in version its part of there intergrated systems

I'm using Rockford 3sixty.2 since it gives me more flexibility, but I know that the LC6 routes the rear ch signal to sub out if there's no sub input. Just not sure if the rockford has this feature, so I might end up splitting the rear speaker outputs.... how much is the LC6 anyway?
