Hi Guys,
Umm just have question... is it normal for CB7's CAT to sit realli low (along with th rest of the exhaust system).. cause it seems.. mine is realli low ( scratch everywhere i go),,, when looking at the car from the side at a distance, i can see the bulge if the CAT hanging down....
Any reasons why??
Replies much appreciated.

Is you system std or after market?? If so, bolt on or custom?? Cats dont sit low, exhausts do. Sounds like you may have an broken exhaust mount. Unusual if exhaust is std tho. If custom, it could be a dodgy mount or poorly made.
Need some background and pics may help too!

Yeh.. i shall get under the car to have a look soon... but the CAT has always been the lowest point on the car of the undercarriage.. is this normal???And the exhaust is stock... apart from sum headers... but the CAT was always low anywayz before i put the headers on.
I'll get pics soon. (but just picture your self eye level to the undercarriage of the car from the side, and you see half the CAT ). clearance is about 10cm
Here are the pics

I have a similar issue with my car. The DC5 doesn't have a transmission tunner and the clearance from the TODA headers and Fujitsubo PG leaves enough room for another exhaust system above the one already on the car. I'm looking at new exhausts but if the J's Racing exhaust has the same issue I may look at a custom bend behind the cat. That's where it's at it's lowest.

the middle bit is not the cat, its a reasonator. The Cat's in the front bit of the car that bulges out.
You can get the exhaust sitting higher by adjusting the bolts that connect the car and adjusting the hangers
I remember that front bit being the flex pipe that runs from the headers... Cause i remember it from when we installed the headers ... I think the middle part is the cat.. =S

stock hondas don't come with Flexis if i rem rightly, they use a donut ring.
But the stock cat is pretty long and it has heat shields on it, so that should help you identify it. Just need to get the exhaust adjusted. It should sit so you bearly see the exhaust on the side

Ask him how to fix it.

Yeah it looks like the pipe itself is hanging low. You should be able to have it tucked in a bit more.
