I imagine it would be possible..... I painted my valve cover but my other option was to get it annodized...... Im not sure what the difference in tempurates are between anodizing and chroming but the dude at the anodizers didnt think it would handle the heat..... He said he bakes it at 180 Degrees...... Give a chroming place a call and query them about it..... Or you could just strip it yourself and use some chrome engine paint which is probably your best bet.

Anodizing and chroming are two seperate processes...... You could probably getting it anodized in silver.... or just chromed..... As for price it really depends on the place..... Besides unless its a metal or alloy spark plug cover you cant anodizer it but im not sure about chroming.

if you wanna get the sparkplug cover chromed, talk to zipi on preludeaustralia.
he has chromed a whole heap of the plastic interior bit...they should be able to do the sparkplug cover.

it should be alloy therefore the chrome plating is not as easy but can be done.

Contact a few mag wheel repair places i know of one that has a chrome paint thats looks exactly like chrome.

That would be the cheapest option, or another easy option is to polish the alloy it will come up just as shiney as chrome but with a slighty whiter apperance IMO it looks far better than chrome.

it is just paint.
use some paint stripper and it will come right off.

you need to try to find a high temp paint...as long as there is high temp base coat the top coat doesnt have to be.

try to get a good chrome...you wont be able to get a full chrome paint...it will never look like its been chrome dipped...but it will still look better than stock black.

thats why i sugested magg wheel repairers they have a paint that matches chrome

you will never get anything that looks like chrome from a spray can
