Hi Guys, just wanted to ask a quick and hopefully simple question... Would a set of headers for a B16A fit a D16A8? Both are DOHC 1.6 litre, so i'm hoping it's possible but i thought i'd ask the experts!

Negative, headers for Bs are completely different to Ds

No worries, thanks for that.... Out of interest, what is the difference? Wouldn't mind knowing so i can add to my list of almost pointless honda knowledge

Is it possible for headers from other D16** models to fit a D16A8? Or are these all different.... i know it's unlikely with the SOHC ones but what about the DOHC variants?

you can fit any d-series headers/extractors to your vehicle as all d series headers are intercompatible. they all have the same input design and output design and location so they will fit to your cat.

but i think the d17 motors are different so give their extractors a miss. as an example of the intercompatibility, im currently using extractors made for a d16y8 in my d15b4.

and not too sure about the d series dohc motor. might have to ask around on www.d-series.org or www.onecamonly.com

all B series headers are only compatiable with B series.
i.e b16, b18, b20
