I've been told that in Australia, you can't have lights (parkers, indicators, headlights, foggys, spot lights) that have the same colours used by any emergency vehicles. This is so that you are not confused with a cop car for example. So yes you can get done for blue/red parkers or coloured indicators other than the designated yellow/amber.

i have blue(ish) parkers on my car have had them for many months and havent even had a second glance (TOUCH WOOD)

yea .. i ve got blue led parkers on for ages too... but so far cops free... but its not noticeable once i have the low beam on...

I wasa under the impression and have been told by a few people that you can have the blue window washers. It's the red ones you aren't allowed to have, because red lights aren't allowed to face forward.

I saw this sweet setup on sum ford explorer b4, it had the red n blue flashing lights inside the car in the middle of the dash so wen u view in ur rear view mirror, u fink its a cop. WHere can u grab one of these?

kwazy u can buy full cop light/siren sets off the net, my mate was gonna put em in his silvia. dun ask me why, i think its stupid too
