Doesn't look like you are missing out on much. I prefer the look of the current VTI that you have.

Nothing wrong with it looking like a Civic. BMW's 3-series nose looks like a 5-series and no one is complaining.

thats because everyone knows bmw fails at design. with the exception of the z4, all the current production models are hideous.

Here are some different angles on the new Accord. The top front view image is from the Honda Thailand website. I can't remember the source of the second image (sorry). There are some interesting lines: Look at the detail.

The 2nd pic is a made in US Accord. Unfortunately, we will get the Thai version.

There are some small differences. The Thai version appears to be much closer to the Honda Inspire from Japan: The rear of the Thai version has those unnecessary tail lights that extend into the boot lid and a more pronounced lip at the bottom of the "bumper bar" above the tail pipes. The Thai headlights have HID options whereas the US version does not appear to get HID. The Thai version also appears to have equipment and features not available in the US version: The Thai version has paddle shifters as an example. The grilles are near identical although I suspect that there are different grilles for different levels of luxury. Probably those hideous horizontal chrome bars for the top of the range.

In terms of quality, if the Thai versions is made as well as the CR-V then it should be good.

I'd be interested to read any elaboration you might have for your statement "Unfortunately, we will get the Thai version". I would agree that the the Thai version rear end isn't as nice as the US version.

I think I'll wait for the new Euro much later in the year (it might even turn up early next year) before I think of replacing my Euro.

O RLY?

They're sales have grown substantially since Chris Bangle took over the design team.

Anyone who thinks BMW make ugly cars hasn't seen the new M3.

The new M3 is hideous.

I agree with the girl that said Z4 is the only good looking BMW, but only the coupe the roadster is ass.

The new M3 hardtop (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/16/pics-and-details-aplenty-2009-bmw-m3-convertible/) is nice looking. it looks decent even with the top on which not many convertibles can pull off. the only other one i can think of that looks nice with the top on is the VW eos.

Honda AU miss the mark again. Curtain airbags are not luxury items. When will they realize that the Euro manufacturers offer these items as standard on their $19,990 cars?

And why bother with a paddle shift on that terrible 5 speed auto with 2.4 4 cylinder? Talk about misjudging your market. They give an AUX input before fitting safety items standard on much cheaper cars. That's just poor product development.

lol u have no idea, the old VTi sells well, compared to the camry the new one will see even better, not bad from 29,990 for a family car with all those features!

u have missed the mark.
