Hey guys, just wondering if an Oil cooler would be beneficial for a dc2r? especially in this weather?

Let's just say it will not be bad for the car, how much it saves your car depends on how you drive it.

There is no need for one on the street, only if you track your car.

Also, installing one will drop your oil pressure. Which will need to be addressed.

not really worth it.for track use it could be beneficial to but on the street its basically just an extra risk at getting a leak and dumping your oil on the street and messing your engine up,all for very minimal impact on performance,if any impact at all,engine will just run a little cooler

Not needed. For street with oil cooler the oil doesn't hit above 75. Thats from our research. IMO optimal oil temps should hover between 85-90 for streets. Low oil temps may casue premature bearing failure.
