lol. you NEED to tell us the tyre WIDTH too , it is crucial to the overall HEIGHT :)

FYI the "50" in XX/50/15 is the sidewall height , as a percentile of the tyre width.

Cheers.I think I got it right with the tyre calculator.11.5" = the radius which = 29cm.So 29cmx2 = 58cm?

if you calculating to compare to OEM tyre card spec then miata calculator is the way to go because that tells you how much your speedo will be out.

but if you want to know the exact spec of certain tyre go to the tyre manufacturers website. some have it some dont.
i know toyo do.

the width is used in calculating the thickness of the sidewall.
it is the % of the width x the profile.
eg. 205 * 45% is the sidewall, etc.
therefore 205/50/15 has larger rolling diameter than 195/50/15

XXX/50 means that the sidewall ie height is 50% (half) of the width

So if its a 225/50/15 then its 150cm

225/50 is quite a bit sidewall lol
