i took it to the shops and they wer acting like ****s too i dunno why i always go there...they said my sub was blown but it still works at low volume?? wtf guys wat do u think of it?
maybe some loosing wiring?
had a situation where i didnt properly soilder all the wires on the harness and turned the volume up..the headunit would suddenly cut out like it was losing power. It only worked on low volumes. Pull everything out and re-did all the soildering and it worked like a treat.

protection light means that its being overloaded or a bad connection in your power line.
Also if you put your gain up too high you will make your amp cut out.
gain isnt a volume control its just an adjustment to your pre out voltage dont ever think if i crank it full it will sound better, your better off hittin your amp with a hammer =P
Try turning your gain down it might help
See how that goes for ya
also if its giving you a CUR light, reading up on your manual for the amplifier it means that
- The Amplifier has been shutdown due to excessive Current

It worked for about a year, then one day when it was pouring it turned itself off, finding water in my boot. But i rewired the power, changed the fuses. Still nothing.
Also no manual =)

well then the water in your boot has shorted out the amplifier inside so thats probably whats gone wrong
ive seen water get on electricals and then when the electricals run it straight away corroded up.
Maybe your amp is stuffed.

im gonna take it to an alpine store to see whats really wrong with it ive been to two places and they have totally different stories
yeah try and get them to get it tested. if its rooted get them to provide you with something and then maybe if its still under warranty you can get something done.
