'91 EG GLi hatch gear boot-clip

I was told that I needed a boot clip to hold the gear boot up to my gearknob but I went to Repco, Autobahn and supercheap auto and none of them have it! they all tryed to sell me aftermarket gearboots but I dont want a aftermarket one, I like the one that's in the EG now!

where can I get one :(

wouldn't really know the answer but, another option would be to purcahse a Type-R shift boot from one of the traders here although considering the alternatives this is rather expensive comparatively

try use a big nut on ur gear stick, and put it shift boot over the gear stick and then put ur gear knob afterwards
