Hey guys, sorry i really dont understand the way injectors work.

Im looking for some injectors for my turbo project, and after about 450cc injectors, still looking around, but if i wanted innjectors like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DSM-450-INJECTORS-HONDA-TURBO-CIVIC-INTEGRA-B18-B16-SI_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em122QQcategor yZ33554QQihZ002QQitemZ120204618752QQrdZ1QQsspagena meZWD2V

Would i need D series injector clips, and do i need different o-rings or caps or anything like that? I also plan on running apexi piggyback ecu, and do i have to change the wiring or something for them to suit? (need different plugs or something?)

Or could somebody possibly give me a link about injector info?

Thanks

You will need OBD1 clips for those. You need to run a resistor box also.
You will also need all new o-rings for the injectors.

ECU wiring will be dependent on your ECU

Hmm thats the thing i dont understand, why do i need OBD1 clips ? and i need resistor box because they not saturated, correct?

those injectors use obd1 & your car being an ek1 will most likely have obd2 clips. But i could be wrong and your car being an earlier model ek1 might have obd1 clips so if that'st he case then you won't need the clips, it will be plug & play

Errr, No!

You missed an important detail.

OBD1 injectors are low impendance, you NEED the resistor box or your injector drivers (ECU) will fail in short order.

OBD2 injectors are higher impedance and do not need the resistors in series (aka no resistor box).

(From memory) OBD1 == 3-5 ohms. OBD2 == 32 ohms.

The other differences included the clips as mentioned.

> why do i need OBD1 clips

because thay are physically different to OBD2.

> and i need resistor box because they not saturated, correct

yes.

slight error there Nick
Most of the turbo injectors that are high impedence are OBD1.
The injectors that i got and the RC injectors use obd1 clips but are high impedence.

The ones that the ebay ones are low impedence and do need a resistor box.

But being obd1 or obd2 does not automatically make the high or low impedence
