Is it al ot cheaper to respray a car into the same color?
My EG is turning Honda pink in some spots, so I'd like it re-done back to original color. No sanding back, just closed doors respray I think.
How much should I expect to pay? $2500-$3000 sounds a bit excessive.

Try a cut and buff first, I had a pink honda and buffed it to deep red. As long as it isn't flaking or peeling. But price is about right for a decent Job.

Really? OK, I thought it was much worse than that.
As you can imagine, I didn't plan to get it detailed (cut back, polish etc) because I thought the paint was well out.

when i bought me car it was the dull red you see on run of the mill red eg's,i went the whole day detail and the paint looked brilliant after.
I used:
Meguirs (i think thats how you spell it) paint cleaner - removes the oxidization
Meguirs Nxt Generation Polish - creates the deep shine
Meguirs Yellow cornubia(again dont know the spelling) wax - deeper shine and protection.
of course theres better and worse products but i find meguirs the best of the mid range.definitely give this a go next time you wash your car,you will be surprised with the results a bit of elbow grease creates.Remember to rub each product on seperately and buff off entirely before the next one
