Yes uBer n00b question as i never understood this...

When people advertise seats as a pair does it mean:
a) It's 1 full seat.. pair meaning backrest and seat
OR
b) x2 of the above as in Driver & Passenger side???

im not too sure about the younger honda's, but the older honda's of the same generation (and or year's) use the same railing or you can swap the rails over to make it fit the younger generation

(eg) if i wanted to put 86 crx/integra/prelude seats into my civic they should just bolt in...

if i wanted to put some ef crx/civic(whatever really) seats in then id just have to swap my rails onto the ef seats and then it would bolt in :D

(hope that helped and made sence) :D

whats wrong with them? need to be welded back together or just dead in general?

if its any help hontoys has a del sol in there atm (dad was looking at a supprise early 19th bday gift=seats) but by all means go and call them or have a look and see if its still there and if they will let you have the rails (i hope for your sake it is because the seats were there in mint condition)

i did some light reading (as i love to forum whore) and read that a few del sol guys in the states have used eg civic rails and just flattened them out at the back (because as i understand it [from nights of light reading] the rails are pretty much the same accept the del sols are just more flatt at the back but someone please correct me if im incorrect which i probably am )...i couldnt find the original thread's to support these accusations of it working or it being done but the refferences from the senior members was enough for me to suggest it  (as they used names not just suggestions)

good info... rep you if i could but i already gave you one for something earlier and won't let me.

pretty sure if hontoys only have the one sol they won't seperate the rails but may give em a call... duno whats wrong with mine but both my seats wobble and the rails are like tight to the floor.

so my next question is, is anyone able to give me the rail measurements for the eg civic... as in from bolting hole to bolting hole? like front to back and front to side...? would be real helpful.... +rep to the person who can measure for me 1st :)

man i almost bought reclinable buckets off eBay lol. but i like the del sol semi-buckets... and um... i can't find the ADR or the VSI document from RTA regarding aftermarket seats?

lol nah tried on another car.. wrecked both seats... pain in the arse.. but then again both seats weren't even from the same car manufacturer so sizing etc was obviously different.

its all good (i noticed you +1 rep'd me ;))

have you checked the bolt that holds your rails to the pan/seat? (friend had that problem with his seats before)

but in all honesty i wouldnt go buying ebay seats :thumbdwn: ive heard nothing but bad things from them...

perhaps some recaro copies are in order

oh btw if you sell the seats i call shotgun :p

all good with the seats... i just wanna confirm if i'll get in the bad books with the po po and ADRs... can't find anything in NSW regarding ADR compatibility of seats despite all posts i've searched being adamant about it for insurance issues...

checked the rails agains seat too.. sits nice and tight so somethngs gone wrong on both seats.. or is there supposed to be some sort of play?

The eBay seats i'm looking at are the leather reclinables with universal rails sold by Oz-Auction, based on his feedback for the seats their the goods + they sell between $150-$200 + $39 delivery to NSW metro.
