View Full Version : Dc5r Alarm Help Asap !!!

as im typing we are working on a DC5R and installing injen intake..

we removed the battery and it whent of and re-connected it and it was fine.. we did it again and now when the battery is connected it just keeps beeping and when it not connected it goes off


Some1 help !

it got the standard key thingi for locking/unlocking doors, but i beleave it could be aftermarket alarm aswell!

we dont have key to the little alarm box thing....

what can we do 2 fix up the alarm :S

check the fuse for the alarm yet?

where would that be located in the fuse box above the battery? do u know which fuse it is ?

It should stop beeping after u press on/off (open/close) on ur alarm keypad or central locking.

yer we have pressed all the buttons.. and tried holding down the buttons 2 reset the alarm ect..

+ it also starts...

underneath your dash, that's where the fuse should be.
btw, close all doors, then try disarming as well? the switch maybe telling its open, and won't disarm itself, if it senses it's being broken into?

are you able to locate the reset switch underneath your dash ? use that and see if you can stop the beeping

Maybe check your fuses near the battery, I disconnected my battery once and when I reconnected it, my car went funny. I.e, My rev gauge going all the way up when I turned my car on

We just removed both sirens. I'll sort it out tomorrow. I've got another Brandt unit we can fit complete with pin code activation that we can swap.

This is why you get professionals to play with security alarms, lol :P

It would help knowing what unit it is.
BUT, I'd say stick with your Brandt, either way.
