Hey does anyone know how to take out the taillights on a dc5r coz i am having dfficulty! I got the 4 nuts unscrewed but the bloody thing wont slide out like i thought it would! Tried wedging it out with screwdrivers but dont wanna wreck my bumper! Anyone else done it coz i just got aftermarket tallights and wanna put em in asap!

remove the rear bumper and unscrew the taillights from the brackets

dont need to remove the bumper..
open the boots..
theres 4 bolts and about 2 pins on the side. for each..
then theres 2 screws under the bumper.. good to get a torche and a jack for this part

putting in lights with lke a shadow chrome housing. They're called hyperblack.
Got them off ebay for $100.00 i have put the url in if u wanna look!

i tried removing the tail lights but it seems as theres something holding the tail lights in behind the rear bar

I've just taken mine out. There are 4 bolts which you've found on the back of the tailight. It's also attached to a mounting bracket hidden under the rear bar. Just take the bar off and then swap the tailights over with th new ones on the black bracket and remount. All up, about 30 minutes to an hours work.
