Hey guys, I'm Michael, also like other members recently posting, I've
been on the forum for a while, but have not been posting much..From
Melbourne and still on my Ps. The EG i just bought a couple of days ago
is the GL. Reason being is I bought it for under 4k and planning to use it
for a B16a transplant.

Current mods include:
Summit front tower strut (not yet installed)
BC type A shift knob

Apart from the B16a, I've also got some BC P1 SF coming in quite soon
and a set of Toyo T1Rs. Also if anybody has some coilovers to sell please do let me know :)

As you can see with some of the photos, the car is dead at the moment..
When i took it home the other night and went for a drive 5min later, the car
died on me. It cranks, but doesn't start, so it may have been an issue with
the dissy. Clearly from the pics, the timing belt is DEAD!! Hopefully will be able to get it up and running again tonight =/
Thanks for viewing guys!

thanks dude, definitely will be sticking around here!

Hacs:
Cheers man! yeah I'll get you some dosh on Sunday when I see ya dude!

Oxer:
Man I'll have the wabaka plates on it by Sunday but that's probably about it..the crank shaft pulley bolt was SOOO hard to remove it was like super glued on a million times @__@ wrenching the living daylights out of it!
Should have the new timing belt, all the pulleys and tensioners put in tomorrow night. Just hope all the valves are ok when I start it up....

STTICH:
Well it was driving ok on the way home but I did notice that the engine was a tad loud and tackity..then when i drove it out again 5min later, I passed two speed bumps on my street and as I clutched in to change into 2nd, there was no power going through and I see the battery lights go on etc.

Sol:
Dude I've seriously been considering a bloody B18c cos its just a damn straight drop without the need to get another teg engine mount...

yeah man, in the process of re-fitting the new timing belt today..the timing belt actually cleanly snapped but removing the whole unit was really a bxtch.....the crank shaft pulley bolt just wouldn't budge probably because it was so old? It's off now so hopefully the car will be up and running without damage being done to the valves :(

update: EG4 IS UP & RUNNING AGAIN!!!!!! luckily the valves pulled through and the car is currently in running order!! Kudos to my old man, without him, nothing could've been achieved!! (better keep my laptop on this window so when he walks past he'll see this LOL)
