Hey guys
I noticed the other day while taking the mats out of the car that on the driver side panel under the dash there is a little black button.
Does anyone know what this is for.
My friends DC2 has it too.
i dont wanna push it cos i dont know what it does.
Sorry i got no pics at this stage...

probably a kill switch.
Push it , and try to start your car - it wont.

The button , (if a kill switch) disables the fuel/spark or ECU so the car wont start. A cheap thief deterrent

yes. ITs just a on/off switch.
From Jaycar etc ~ should make alittle CLICK when you push it. Try it out

what colour wire or wire thickness is it connected to ?

should be connected to a thick black or white wire (ignition)

Its a Black wire its not thick though its pretty thin.?
after i press it all it does is the alarm makes a funny noise as if it has gone off. instead of doing the normal two beeps thing it does 5 fast ones. ????

Sounds like part of your alarm system, either an override or used to cinfugre your settings
