just delivering an '08 complianced S2000 and to my surprise it has the same rims as on the JDM S2000 CR... the Honda Australia website hasnt updated the brochure or anything but I checked the Japanese website and these are the new rims.. what do you guys think ? I'm not a fan.. they look a little el-cheapo to me.. but a lot easier to clean than the '07 design rims :P

anyway just thought I'd let you prospective S2K owners know that these are the new rims :D

p.s. if you want one in perth.. come talk to me hahahah

They look like CSA lancer rims, big minus for honda and these rims, I like AP1 rims better than this.

Do people still buy s2ks? I would've thought the lack of price reduction in the last 4 years would've rendered them uncompetetive in our market. As much as I love the s2k there are much better cars around now for $70k.

Those CR wheels look cheap as mentioned, the 04-05 rims are surely the best!!!

What would you suggest? A 350Z that looses value so badly and is often driven by middle aged women? An EVO when you sit in and feels like a $20K base lancer? A R32 golf that is, well a golf?

The S2K when you take into consideration all aspects such as driving feel, handling etc on an average wiegh's above some of the cars in the same price range.

Just my opinion.

BTW the S2K is $78K on road without any price haggling. U will find that you can buy a brand new 1 for under $70K on road after some haggling of the salesman.

I think the belief among myself and other members here is that the s2000 is now what a 9 year old car? Buying one new for 70k for a car that can be had for less that half the new sticker price would be illogical. Last I checked, ap2's haven't changed much?

You will also find that a majority of those $30k ish S2K's are in quite poor condition. A new and a second hand 7 year old car, you just can't compare. Same thing applies to all cars.
