View Full Version : EG Wheel Arch Plastic Splash Guard Removal...

Hey Guys

Any known long term problems with remove the plastic splash guard from the wheel arches on my EG?

I’m sick of the rubbing sound when I hit corners…

Would be all rust proof anyway right?

It's rubbing where the clips hold it up..

I doubt it will hold up after cutting them out

if u remove it, u'll get all the rubbish from the road splashing into ur guards n front doors

you mean mudflaps?

i dunno. but i havent got em on my EG and my doors have got stone chips...

Havn't had mine in for a year and a half or so now. Some dirt seems to collect where the door hinges attach. That's it. And I've bashed and cut all kinds of stuff under there and repainted with just black primer.

No intake resonator or CAI so I'm good to go lol
