Just stripping back everything on my car ready for cage fitting.
Does anyone know an easy way to remove the shift linkages from the cabin side easily? I have the gear selector side out but the sideways selector side is a little tricky. It looks like I need to rotate the black plastic end but I don't want to force it.
Help appreciated.

DC5R dont have any shift linkage
What you got is shifter cable and shifter box , to remove it , just take all the clips and pins . As simple as that. That black rubber cover on the firewall can be remove too .

Yeah, wording was bad. I've got all the split pins out of the shifter and the forward cable out, but the sideways one is clipped into the nylon base in a way I can't figure out how to remove. Is it a simple twist out?
