i just bought an 96' accord vti-s (it says that model on rego). but when i went online to check its standard features, it says i should have a sunroof. and there's NO SUNROOF!! could the previous owners have gone cheap and bought the car without a sunroof? or do i have like.. a 95' or something... ? O_o;;

If its an option than yes they could have gone cheap. But if it was standard than no you cannot opt not to get it.
Not sure if that was a factory option or a standard feature

um.. red book says the only 96' model which doesn't come with sunroof is the...the EXi.. but there's no EXi,VTi or VTi-s brands on the back of my car.. and i got a vtec engine.. so i don't think mine's an EXi, unless they did an engine drop... far, doing my head in ><"

VTIS auto has the first few numbers/letters of it's VIN as JHMCD56500C######
Manual
JHMCD55400C######
If it is different u got jipped..
redbook.com.au on the vehicle specifications tab gives u the first couple of numbers to the VIN
