Ok Here goes.

When my car is at a stop and i am about to take off.

It makes a creecking noise, I am taking a guess that it is the engine mount.

Has anyone had this happen to there car before. It basically goes creek creek.

Should i be worries and will it affect the car till i get it to the mechanics in a couple weeks.

It has been doing it for about 1-2 months and is really annoying me.

The car is a 94 accord with a h22a transplant The engine has been in there for about 3 years now. It has the stock accord engine mounts from what i was told by the previous owner.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Turn the engine off, and pop the hood. Then push the engine around with your hands and listen for the noise.

It could also be noisy suspension, push the front of the car down so the car bounces on its suspension, listen for the noise. The coilovers/springs may just need a degrease.

could be ur front or rear bushes bro, the bushes could be 14 years old and they dry up and crack which makes a pretty creaky old boat noise. Test it by driving slowly around a corner with all ur music off, if its that, it will creak.

Hmmm it only seems to happen when i take off in first gear.

Service is due in 300kms time so will find out what it is real soon.

Hope it isnt expensive :(

try lifting the bonnet and getting a friend to rev the car in first and see if you can detect where the creeking is coming from
