Central Locking on ED 89 hatch???

Hey ppl, i was just wondering would my ED 89 civic hatch have central locking?
Did these modeld eva come stock with it?
The car came with an alarm and immobiliser and the guy said it mite have central locking he doesnt no cauz he just got the car himself like 2 weeks b4 me. Maybe it does but its fcuked?
How can i check it has it?

yes all the EDs came standard with central locking along with many other features that werent common in small cars. if its fubar then it will only cost u about 100bux to fix. so to answer ur question, it came standard in ur car

Bleh ill just open the bloody door crap wen i get time. Itd be pretty stupid to have alarm n immobliser yet no central locking. :mad:

Ive seen ED hatches with out factory central locking. have a look for non genuine wiring from the door to the body. is its got aftermarket locking there should be 5 wires coming from the drivers door to the body of the car.

But the thing is from the door to the body its covered well by some kind of rubber tube...ive taken it off and theres plenty of wires in it...sum also wiv electrical black tape..but for all i no it could belong to the speaker system since its got aftermarket door speaker pod things...

ED6 hatches (ED6 designated GL) didn't come with it standard (BTW - Aussie hatches and sedans are both GLs, there was no other designation). Redbook is full of shit and totally unreliable. JDM EFs had central locking as an option (mine does, a mate in NZ doesn't in his EF9, mine is as listed in the options catalogue for the EF9). If you have it then it's aftermarket. If the plastic under the door trim is disturbed and there is a relay attached to the locking mechanism then it has CL. But I seriously doubt it.
