Nice 2nd gen. we used to have a some 1st gen and 3rd gen civics in the family.

conversion wise, its hard to fit many of the newer motors, so d series would be the easiest to try and fit in.

hard to source some of the older motors now

Most people that used to do them up used to put either the ZC DOHC engine in them or the turbo motor out of the city.

I have seen a guy shoehorn a B16 into one but that was for drag racing only and was unable to get road registered.

I miss my '82 civic

A.G.System is right...

just chuck in a zc dohc, just go to pick and payless and buy a rear ended 1st gen integra and you will have all you need :D should only cost you about 700 at most

also you can fit in a b16 (seen it done on different forums) but it'll be a tight squeez

my uncle used to have a 2nd gen....everyone has moved on since those days ;)

but yes...zc is the easiest to source option...or d series...essentially the same motor....

hard to source a t1 or t2 turbo out of a city...and probably not worth it as you'd get more power by slapping on a turbo.

i dunno, might slap in a zc in, maybe turbo that, do a side mounted turbo, like just a small turbo, DD and sleeper. :)
