Hi just a quick question. Is there much difference in getting a mechanical or electronic gauges? Is it mainly the sender type and or the signal for the mechanical type not as precise? Is installation harder? Please someone skool me?

Install for electric gauges is easier as there is only wired to route. I'd say they're as good as each other but choice is yours......lets just say I wouldnt want oil going into my car.
Electronic anyday for me!

i'd prefer electronic.........especially if ur mounting them inside the car.....like Nepolian said..u dont want an oil / water line bursting and having it all going through ur dash and interior
Mechanical for externally mounted gauges
Electronic for internally mounted gauges
