you can still go but not be able to change gears at all.

ouch ... why first gear tho? wat if i flat shift it to 6th. can i go down without crunching?

cant shift into 6th. it will just keep on rev'in and the car wont move.

You can shift into all gears without using the clutch.
No need to crawl in 1st...

Also if the clutch is totally gone the car wont move at all.
Just slips and free revs,very dangerous trying to go uphill.

That's what I mean^ But I find blipping the revs up as you slide it into each gear works better.
Easier on the synchro's

Is your problem that the clutch is slipping badly, ot just that the clutch won't disengage?
