look in the Suspension sticky thread, and it will tell you in most cases it depends on the offset of your wheels. saying that, i got my guards rolled, but DIY style. i used a mallet and hit the guard until i was happy with the result. i copied someone who did a DIY thread on Guard Rolling. i must admit it does take some time, longer than i expected. hope this kinda helps you

Scrubbing will depend on your wheel offset and tyre size. I have Tein Super Streets, lowered about 2 1/4 inches. My wheel size is 17x7 + 40 offset. I'm rolling on 215/40/17 and have no problems with scrubbing. No guard rolling is neccessary if you have the correct offset and tyre size. Unless you go ridiculously low, u may run into problems with the inner fender. Also invest in proper suspension, lowering springs alone will eventually wear out your shocks prematurely equating to poor ride quality.

lowering your car on king springs isnt considered slamming, your car will still sit high

agreed, superlows wont need guard rolling depending on size and offset of the rims.

im dumped on coilovers now with a new set of rims +40 offset..

it is considered slamming when u guard is eating rim, ive just pulled out a set of eibachs that lowered it 2 inches and the tyre was inside the guard and super lows will give it an extra .5 inch of sag of the next few weeks.

I really dont think it will sit high,What do u consider slamming?

I always classified slamming as slang for lowering a car, i don't think there is an exact meaning to the word in that context.

if u want to roll your guards u can do it yourself just get a base baall bat wrap a towel around it then put it between the wheel and guard ,, move very slowly foward then reverse to release the bat , keep doing it to how much u want to go .. make sure u roll very slowly if u go to quik paint will chip,,thats pritty much how people can do it

as others have said it really depends on your new wheels offset and tyre size. I got mine professionally done at a panel beater because i heard some scary stories of DIY's gone bad.

I went to Ron Mace Panel Works on Bakers Road, Coburg North. They did an awesome job... not one crack or chip. Both sides were done for $150 i think (about 2 years ago).
