hey guys, my mate has a civic ej8 and is nearing the 200000km mark. just wondering what we should be lookin for in a 200000km service, apart from changing the timing belt, replacing engine fluids, spark plugs and leads and possible the water pump and re-gassing the a/c. is there anything else we should get replaced? and roughly how much should all this cost? taking into account we're changing the fluids and spark plugs n leads ourselves and

thanks guys, loc:)

Each model is different so there isn't really a generic list of work to be done.
The Honda Manual that came with the car has the Servicing Schedules and the work to be done at each interval, so check that.

200000k is a biggy (timing belt is time consuming) so you may be up for a $600+ service.

i'd probably change all belts while im at it.
and probably all hoses.

it would probably be like 800+ closer to 1g if you do it propley no short cuts.

you can save alot by just installing them all urself or by a mechanic friend for say half the price...
i know my mate got his cars 100000km service at honda and they charged him an stupidly high amount for just timing belt and plugs.
heres a honda site from the philippines i found that outlines basically what you need to do for your 200000km service. hope this helps.:)
