I had writen quotes from a few dealers. It was around my 21th birthday IIRC and I used that to my advantage (first brand new car etc). Couple that with some general good luck!

i find it hard to believe when the advertised price is $30,490
and that doesnt include dealer delivery, metalic paint or on road costs....
and you got all those extras for free...
i got mine for 34,000 with same extras plus bass works and accent lighting and premium plates if that helps you dusty...

It's ok to post up how much you got your car for. But you are not allowed to ask how much a car is worth. Yes, I am treading on a fine line here, but we have a similar "how much did you get your Euro for?" in the Euro section.

i find it hard to believe when the advertised price is $30,490I could provide a copy of my receipt, but I don't care if you don't believe me  Most of the places I looked at had the Sports Manual for ~$29,000 too

Rex Gorell. Services have been a waste of time though, they break more stuff than the fix any time it gets serviced. 1k service broke my left side air con cover. 20k broke my stacker. 30k service broke my FM antenna (rather, the cable that connects it to my radio).

On review; I forgot the $500 extra I paid for some sort of holding fee/deposit, my bad.

prices are all over the shop. Bought mine back in Aug 06 around $35000 driveaway (VIC) with mats, slim plate and boot protector. Bought a bit of accessories (e.g bodykit) and got those prices down heaps. But kinda good to see that after 1.5 years, the price is still the same

i am also looking for this car the civic sports with most extras (led interior lights, mat set, front and rear underspoiler, side skirt, spoiler, door sill garnish set, window tinting) etc. Some of you have gotten it for $34,000 even $31,000.

Whats my chance of getting it close to $31,000 as possible? if i cant i will need to get the VTI-L model.

depends , your best bet is to shop around for quotes.

i reckon it might be possible with the 07 clearance stock if theres any left.

waooo so cheap for a Sports model!

Dealer was behind on yearly target. They went well into holdback to get numbers up. If I ever buy one for myself I know when to buy. WOuldn;t mind a white Sport daily.

Hey guys,

Sorry kinda like bringing an old thread back to life...

Im interested to know if anyone has been buying FD2 (sport) and for how much in 2010? How much can we expect it to come down by in july? (EOFY sales)
