what is your rpm before and after the aircon?

Ye it's probably the idle dropping.

Say im at the lights, and i turn on the air con it'll start to shake abit. like the whole front part feels like the car is gonna turn off

How low does the rpm drop to?

the compressor probably is putting to much load on the engine,

See how much your RPM's drops to.
if it sounds like its gonna die or cut off is prob idling too low when it turns on.
either than that its ur mounts.

to me it sounds fairly normal because when you switch the a/c the compressor has a clutch which switches it on. This clutch puts a slight load on the drive belt which is connected to the crank and may cause a slight shudder. If it only does it when you switch it on i cant see it being a problem tbh.

i get that too, seems quite normal, tho i have a prelude. when i turn my aircon on there is a slight second shudder and the revs drop lower than what i was previously idling at.

Or you can buy a larger displacement engine :P
