ET1 1.8 carb / what is this car????

hi, just picked up an 85 honda accord for $100. its a 5-sp manual hatch in pretty damn good mechanical condition. i cant find anything on the net about its ET1 engine (i'm 99% sure its an ET1). any general info would be cool, and super-cheap mods would be also cool (its retiring to a farm soon, where it will live out its final days in screaming agony at the hands of me and my friends). any other info about the car would be appreciated.

Cheapest car I bought was $150.Triumph 2500 Mk11 or something.

rego ran out a couple of days ago, will be applying for unreg permit so i can drive it round a bit then take it out bush, go nuts and leave it there when it blows up, or if i cant kill it ill come back to finish the job (this is a private property btw).

car was owned by a honda service mechanic for most of its life. it drives so well, everything runs like clockwork and its pretty quick. in performance and cornering feel (pretty flat) it probably matches or beats out my 95 pulsar. its even comfortable, has working A/C and a sunroof (sealed up). fekking amazing.

btw, black hood cost $8 in spray paint. lol.

my eng number starts with et1-2, so im not sure exactly what it is.

they specialise in all to 3rd gen accords...

nice guys and will definately help you out (but there from america) so dont expect answers straight away

btw done trash the car (it looks in almost mind condition) sell it if you dont want it......someone will restore it :cool:

the exterior is all dents, mismatched paint, slight rusting very slight, just surface oxidising on the bootlid) etc, and the interior is f'd. and i paid for it so i guess i should do whatever i want with it.

how rare? it has a compliance plate, think its a personal import?

if anyone knows what it is i'd be very interested to see what ive picked up. or if someone could help me in the way i could use rego/vin/engine/compliance number to find out exactly what it is and where it came from.
