DC5R bootlid will fit on a DC5 luxury okay?

ive got a dc5 luxury and had some bootlid damage last month :(. i can source a dc5r bootlid, but i was told by a mate it may not fit.

can anyone tell me if itll fit or not? itll be the whole bootlid, glass and all

Your friend might be right due to the slight model shape change incurred in the later years of the luxury to make it more like the type S shape.

I know that it'll fit for the older luxury. Like my 2003 Integra Luxury

well mine is a 2005 luxury if thats any help

the only difference i can see between the lux and ITR is the taillights on the ITR have that rounded bit at the bottom. but that shouldnt matter because the taillights arent part of the lid....

imo it should ok,

why would honda make different size tailgates for each variant for a particular model ? lols

anyways, to make sure you could always call up honda spare parts and ask them for a tailgate for a lux,
write down the part number,
then ask for one for the type r,
if the part number matches.. then it will fit

The DC5R boot should fit fine because the luxury and the R have the same body shape.
