my car makes lots of funny noises, and i laugh for long and extneded periods of time every time it does...
Seriously though, can you be more descriptive of the sound? is its a springy boingy kinda sound?
ummzzz.. Feels like it struggles and then it shakes. like a winding noise. i cant really explain it. But im changing the clutch n fly wheel cause of this..

ROFLMAO
But as stated dont just say my car makes noises.
be descriptive.
does the clutch feel notchy or grindy.
Doest it take long for your gears to engage or do they Slip?
do research think there is a thread similar to this, i think it was fixed with WD40

if you are getting shuddering on takeoff then you might have a broken component in your clutch, dunno about the winding noise though dude, perhaps take it to a mechanic

a whining/whistle noise when u release clutch could be your thrust bearing and if its boogered bad enough then it mite cause problems with your struggling on release etc (corrections on this about struggling ?) (only saying this cos the "winding" noise you described im not sure if you mean whining type of whistle thing)

Step on the gas when letting the clutch out. If you release the clutch with no revs the engine revs will drop below idle and will start shuddering and vibrating, thats all it is IMHO

now im gonna take a poke at this one and say its the spigot bearing .. cos i remember someone saying to me that if clutch is out and makes whistle it could be thrust bearing and if clutch is in and makes squeek or some noise it could be the spigot bearing.

is it a major problem? or should i just leave it?

if you are plannin to get aftermarket clutch n flywheel then u may aswell wait till u do get clutch n flywheel then change spigot bearing with it all at once, IF not plannin for change of clutch or go aftermarket anytime soon then yer just change spigot. Shouldnt be a major problem tho unless u leave it for like ages lolz.
