push the lip up and screw some screws in to hold it in place on the ends on the inside of the bar

so your saying drill some holes at each end, and screw them up? how does yours look like on your EG6? is there anything else thats holding it on, bar the bolts at the bottom?

no way man, if you look at other civics with this lip it sits exactly on the line. i have not seen any civics with this problem

mine sits flush only using oem bolts
take the bar off the line up where u want the lip to sit and just use a self tapping screw to hold it in place
