Just a quick question, wanting to know how comftorble the EK4 seats are compared to the scabby ek1's, as far as i know its a straight fit but are they any more comftorble and hold you in better than my old ones?

apparently ek4 ones are a bit more buckety. thats about it. i was going to get them but nto worth it, might as well get fake recaro's

One of my mates bought a cheap set of buckets from autobarn about 6 months ago and they look like shit now, and were a bitch to put in, im kinda after something kinda stock looking so wont have to get the seats engineered like he did.

ek4 seats are heaps better. They have more adjustment in the seat and they seat you in them more with the side cushions. I've had both sets.

ek4 much better. it contours to my ass. lol :(

ek1 seats my ass feels STRAIGHT in them.. sit uncomfortable when i drive my ek1.

sounds homo but yeah i dont care. lol :)

yeah ek1 bottom part of the seat, is almost flat.

they use the same rails, so the holes in the ek chassis will line up.

THEY STRAIGHT FIT
you can do whatever you wish though
you can either buy ek4 seats without rails and use your current rails from your rail and mount them to the new seats
OR
you can buy ek4 seats WITH rails and bolt them on directly.

either way, its gonna fit.

EK4 seats are comfortable but the design is terrible lmao it won't match ek1 stuff. But they are comfortable as!

ek4 seats are verii comfy except for one thing (mayb just the position i have it in etc) i tend to slip off the seat a lil while driving, and ive already adjusted the seat pan to tilt my knees up as much as it will go lolz

IF u drive slowly n dun corner much, Ek4 seats are great, hold u properly in place. If u do hardcore cornering, Ek4 seats are useless, u still feel u are flying off. As one of the dudes said, get recaro fakes or other unknown brands.

Needless to say for the rubbish Ek1 seats which are for the regular housewife. Haha.

Ok this thread has now turned me off ek4 seats, i need to get the paint fixed up first after that ill pick up some fake recaros like monzas or something. Thanks for all the replies though guys.

Well,I don't want the full bucket seats but the EK1 seats for the track won't be too much fun (even with a seatbelt fastener-used to stop the seatbelt from moving to help hold you in place).So I think I will look to upgrade my EK1 seats to EK4,sounds like exactly what I'm after.
