where you people buying these tyres from?

i've called 5 shops and they all offering me nankang, silverstone, falkens... and if i want any of the brands like toyo, yokohama, good year... all has to be ordered in and wants double the prices of the tyres they stock! :eek:

Look on their respective websites and they should tell you the local distributors and call them

Look for bargains on forums,
or if someone is selling rims with tyres.. pm them and see if they are willing to seperate the tyres.

The last time I was looking for Toyo T1R 205/45/16,
I found that Blairs Tyres in Lansvale was the cheapest $170 i think it was

The good tyres are'nt double the price. The cheaper tyres are half the price of a real tyre because they have half the grip :)

A few traders here have some tyres at very good prices. Alternatively go search on various evo and wrx forums as they have traders selling tyre for their track days.

Blair's Tyres in Lansvale sells Proxes 4s and T1Rs... latter has to be ordered though.

toyo tyre is littleB better then bridgestone,but in wet bridgestone Adrenalin Potenza RE001 handle alot better then toyo!and there price is cheaper then toyo...
