Hi, ive got a monochannel amp, (monoblock kicker ) and was just wondering is it possible to hook this up to two subs ?
or is it only possible to hook it up to one ? because im hoping i can. On the amp it doesnt say bridging or anything and im pretty much a noob at this.
My friend reckons it wont work but i dont know.

depends, if the the subs are 4ohm or 2ohm each.
if it's 4ohm each, your monoblock, should be okay, as long as it states its 2ohm stable
of it's 2ohm each, make sure your block says it's 1ohm stable.

as destrukshn said.
its possible to wire up 2 subs to a mono block.
monoblock is stable at on impedence, but has most probably 2 other variables.
an amp doesnt need to say bridging to be able to wire up 2 subs.
bridging basically means, the amp is connecting those 2 channels into one, producing a higher desired power, at the same impedence. (oh btw impedence is ohms if you didntk now lol)
if u dont wanna take any risks with wiring i can help ya out.
pm me and ill give u detailed information.
lol you can even connect 10 speakers into that one monoblock.
wouldnt sound to good as a split front n rear system but .. yeh it can be done =]

what subs you have?
what amp is that?
Looking at your question, I would probably assume you have two "4 ohm SVC sub".... so with 2 4 ohm SVC sub, you can wire it to your monoblock and run the amp at 2 ohm.
if your sub are DVC 4 ohm, you can also wire it to 4 ohm at the amp. parallel and serial wire it to get 4 ohm...
but at 4 ohm, your amp will be producing lesser power then 2ohm, but you get more damping factor...
