i didnt think any 2000 and below hondas had this function. All analogue dials and only lights to tell if something wrong.
exact location and colour ?

try pulling out the backup fuse for 10sec and put it back in and start up your car and let it run for awhile in another word resetting your ecu.. if that dont work think you might have an em1 cluster cause im pretty sure ej8 doesnt have them maintenance light

from memory i think i've seen an em1 with it. basically it comes on after a certrin amount of kms to let u know ur due for service

wat u do is stick a key in the little black slot near maintenance required icon. that is the reset button for it. it is tripped every 5000km to remind u that u it needs a service. it should be vertical black thing on the cluster and from memory to the left of the indicator

It goes amber at 10000 K, still waiting for mine to go red, doing a service next so'll reset it then.
