Can someone please advise how the airbags work in the dc5? Like where the sensors are and what kind of pressure sensors they have?

Also if anyone knows about the side airbags in the seat that'd be great to, what triggers them off.

Should any airbags be triggered if someone crashes into your front fender and front quarter panel?

And definetly account that people have had with them, the other day a friend of mine had his side chair airbag almost knock him out cause he was sitting to close to it. I was supposed to understand if you block the side airbags an on-board computer in the dc5 luxury/S was supposed to deativate the airbags? Should he check out the computer for a faulty sensor?

Also sorry if this is a repeat thread :) dont burn me i searched for something like this for about an hour!!!! and didnt find one, im just computer illiterate not dumb :p

if you are worried about airbags best get a professional to look at them as they can be very dangerous. As for where the sensors are have you tried asking honda as im sure they'll be able to tell you. If there was a faulty sensor then the computer should pick it up and will log a fault code causing an airbag light if there is no light there is only an extremely small chance of being a problem.
Airbags only go off after a certain ammount of force in bought upon the sensors, i have no idea what pressures etc set it off, but 9 times out of ten they deploy for a reason.
As i said earlier if you are not experienced with airbags dont fiddle with them they can be dangerous if you suspect a problem just take it to professional
