If u got the money, i think just goto those transmission specialist and ask em to do a conversion to sequential shift, maybe cost alot cause its hectic but i reckon you can do it.

People have done this on the Mitsubishi transmissions, using a custom made controler circuit.

I'm sure it CAN be done with the right amount of money. But more pressing is, why would you want to?

haha
finally i get replies!! yay!!!
hmm so it can be done?
y do i want to? cause i want a unique car..a sequential GSi, u dont seem them around, and coz sequential more fun than auto, i might actully do it up..
hmm..but seems like the price is way over the roof, i prob wont do it..
but yeah...just poking my nose around and seeing if it' possible..if the price's reasonable, i might actully do something crazy like that...

PM B|ade (sam) on these forums. He was investigating getting a sequential shifter for his boosted auto accord awhile back (before taking the cheaper and smarter option of a normal accord manual tranny).
IMHO it's a huge waste of money on a GSi...
And what's so cool about a sequential shift? Your Honda is far from a drag car, as are most Hondas. Why not spend the money on a great suspension/handling package and throw yourself around corners at 90km/h+? It's alot more of a rush than hitting a sub 8 second 0-100 in your newly sequential non VTEC 107kw GSi.....ROFL ;)

Btw, with the money needed on new tranny for your sequential shifter, you could probably buy a VTiR (MANUAL.....) of the same year as your GSi.....

if you want to be unique, put a 97 prelude vtir engine and auto tranny in it (if it will fit ) there already sequential.

Money? The controler this guy had made up for his Magna would have had less than $20 woth of components in it. You just need somone who knows what their doing. The controler did shift hard though, but it was ok since this was a modified tranny. Might not be too good on a stock one... Ohh and I have no idea if this can be done on a Honda :p

hmmm thanks yo
i was just wondering...the prelude conversion sounds tempting.
um whats unique about GSi with sequential? itz coz no one does it, and if i can pull it off and make it heaps good (using tons of $$...which i dont have :P...yet...) then it'll def be unique..
but i prob wont do anything crazy like that...prob trade it in later or something...ill be patient and see what honda does next.
