I got a '98 ek4 with a b16a2 and the previous owner put a standalone microtech ecu in. I was hoping I could replace the ecu back to a stock one but I wanted to know before looking what ecu does it use? obd0? obd1? I barely even know what I'm talking bout. Also would i need to get a harness as previous owner completely removed the stock one?

the stock ecu for your car is P2T. That ecu is ObdII so you do not need a conversion harness

your cheapest option is to get a harness and a OBDI ecu

to get the original ECU to work you must source the P2T ECU and install it, then take your car to Honda and have them program the Immo to the ECU and if you dont have the red key then there is another $650
