Pioneer AVH7650DVD

Hi I need some information on this unit.

I just purchased it yesterday and installed it. Everything works fine apart from the fact that it doesnt play burnt dvd's. By burnt i mean mp3's that i burn onto a dvd disc which is pretty gay because it plays burnt dvd movies..

SO! Does anyone know what types of formats this unit supports? eg. avi, mpeg, mp4's, etc etc on dvd and cd discs.

most dvd players for cars only read video files on dvd's and do not pic up audio files. i know jvc players do audio but are unsure of others. for more info on your unit have you tried the pioneer website?

atm, only JVC units support giga mp3 (mp3 on DVD discs)

some pioneers may but his unit doesnt play mp3's off a dvd (giga mp3). in other words,you can play mp3's by burning them onto a normal cd but the player cannot read them off a dvd

Your model is older. Only the models from 07 or now will play them. AVH-P5950DVD will play it.
