newbie with tyres

Hey All,

Recently purchased a EG Civic Sedan with steel wheels
Just pulled out the spare today and its a 15in rim with 205/50/15 tyres

I've just had a set of 15x7 rims arrive and was wondering what size tyres I'll be needing if I dont want to change the rolling diameter?

Will 205/50/15 do?
Also any reccommendations on tyres?

195/50/15 and 205/50/15 both are fine.

sorry to hijack, but I'm looking at fitting 195/55 15's from 6inch stock width on to a 7 inch wheel, according to e240's link it will be ok, is this correct? I'm hoping for the undersized tyre look....

whats the fitting guide say for those tyres? between 5.5 and 7ish ? check the tyre specs... im sure theyll be able to take 7".

yeh i asked my bob jane to check and 7 inch is the widest for 195's.

205/50 and 195 /50 both good enough for corners.. :D

which sort of tyres u need? performance or daily?

i drive eg sedan as well.. i use 205/45/17 :P
n i use toyo proxes 4.. but i sppose if u want better prformance, toyo T1R is better hahahaha.. :thumbsup:
