Hey just wondering with the Emanage blue do you have to buy a harness to suit your car or can it just be wired in and go straight out of the box?
The car is a 94 CRX and i'm about to install toda spec B cams and an EManage.
I just want to make sure ive got everything i need first.

Anyone who has installed a Blue or ultimate ran into any trouble or had to buy extra bits?

,Cheers

Incorrect, you buy a harness if it's a B series, easier than wiring and then it's plug and play, easy to remove if you get a defect!

I used to sell e-manage systems at Ab's and as far as i know the blue you have to buy a harness and the ultimate is ready to go. Im not really an expert, can anyone confirm?

You have to buy an ignition harness with the blue along with the in the box harness

Anyone used the plug and play harness from Boomlang fabrication?
I tried intalling the emanage the other day using the so called "plug and play" harness and the car wont start.
I have set the rotary switches in the unit for my engine and changed the jumpers as the manual says for vtec cars. The car turns over but just will not fire up.
BTW. car is a EG crx

Try Rotors setting 2-8-B (B Enables VTEC) Not sure why but I tested everyone till my dodgy temp VTEC light kicked in :)

Reverse jumper 4 to OPEN as its a misprint..

For ignition you problem will be jumpers JP1 JP2

JP1 default is 1-2 change to 2-3
JP2 change the same as JP1

You might get error code as I do but its just the stock ECU looking for the Solenoid now that e-manage has taken off VTEC X point..

21 (http://b16a2.kicks-ass.net/diy/pgmfi/mil/pgmfi-code-21.gif) VTS (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68997) - VTEC Spool Solenoid

But VTec will work regardless

Hey, thanks for the help but i got it working already with rotors 2-8-A and i still have vtec.
I sent an email to Boomslang Fabrication and they told me that yes there is a misprint in the manual and no where does it say to change the jp1, jp2's if your using the ignition harness.
All sorted now cheers.

Don't think so, the active LED flashes green slowly on idle and sometimes flashes orange super fast once the rpm gets up when accelerating (i don't know if thats normal or not). The interaction LED consistently flashes when the support tool cable isn't plugged in but i don't think this is an error code.
