Very stupid me flushed my radiator out and used a radiator flush solution (alkaline salts) and left it in overnight because it was getting to dark
looked at it this morning and its leaking, so i guess it ate through the radiator?
cheers

Also another thing....would it have damaged other stuff like the head gasket?
I didnt actually run the car, just drained the radiator, poured the "radiator flush" in and topped it with with water,
cheers

Have you got under the car and checked for leaks? Or has the radiator and overflow container been losing fluid?
I wouldn't worry about the gaskets, just check for leaks from time to time. You should do that anyways.

well mate you have completely missed the point of a radiator 'flush' if you didnt run the car :)
on the directions, how long does it specify you should leave the solution in for?
you can visually inspect the inside, to an extent, with a flashlight. it should give you at least some indication

I didnt get up to the "running the car" part because, like i said, it was too dark. Ive got some radiator stop leak, ill try that and let you know how i go.
Cheers
